Smart Strength Training Podcast

Andy Vincent has been coaching in London for more than two decades, and his show reflects that experience in the best way. He's not chasing trends or hyping supplements. He's trying to explain why most people never get stronger despite years of gym attendance, and what actually works when you finally decide to fix it. The episodes tend to be shorter than the average fitness podcast, usually in the 20 to 40 minute range, and Vincent treats each one like a coaching session. He'll pick a topic such as tempo work, rest periods, managing volume through a busy week, or how to train around a nagging knee, and walk through his reasoning with real examples from clients. Guests appear occasionally, often other coaches he respects from the UK scene, but the show works just as well as a monologue because Vincent is genuinely good at explaining complicated ideas in plain English. Listeners who already lift will appreciate the nuance around progression and recovery. Beginners will like that he never talks down to them or assumes they know what RPE means without explaining it. It's the kind of show you put on during a walk and finish the week a little smarter about your own programming.
