C-Suite Intelligence

Stephen Miles has spent years advising CEOs of some of the largest companies in the world, and C-Suite Intelligence is essentially a condensed version of those private conversations, made public. The Miles Group works with boards on succession planning and executive coaching, so Miles is not theorizing about leadership from a business school classroom. He is pulling from the specific messes he has been paid to help untangle. Episodes are typically short, often under 25 minutes, and each one picks apart a single topic: how to run a board meeting that does not waste everyone's time, what to do when your CFO is checked out, why most CEO onboarding fails in the first 100 days, how to have a direct conversation with a peer who is underperforming. The brevity is a feature. Miles has a coach's instinct for cutting past the preamble and getting to the actionable part. His tone is plainspoken, occasionally blunt, and never performative. You will not hear him quoting Sun Tzu. There are guests on some episodes, usually sitting or former Fortune 500 leaders, but the solo episodes may be the strongest, because that is where Miles just says what he thinks. Good for senior leaders, aspiring ones, and board members who want a sharper read on what actually happens behind the boardroom door.
