Most Popular Podcasts - February 2026

We pull chart data from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and PodcastIndex every month and combine it into a single ranking you can actually trust. See what the world is listening to right now.

Each podcast gets a PodRanker Score from 0-100 based on its combined chart performance across platforms and countries.

How does the PodRanker Score work?

Every podcast gets a PodRanker Score from 0 to 100 based on its chart performance across multiple platforms and countries.

  • We collect chart rankings from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and PodcastIndex each month.
  • Each source carries a different weight - Apple and Spotify count the most, reflecting their larger listener base.
  • For the global chart, a podcast's score reflects how well it performs across 28 countries, weighted by market size. Charting in the US counts more than charting in a smaller market.
  • A score of 100 means a podcast dominates every chart in every major market. A score of 50 means solid performance in several markets or top rankings in a few.

Most Popular Podcasts by Country

How we rank the most popular podcasts

Figuring out which podcasts are actually popular is harder than it sounds. Apple Podcasts has its own charts, Spotify has another, and neither tells you the full picture. We pull chart data from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and PodcastIndex every month, weight it by platform size and market, and combine it into one number: the PodRanker Score. It goes from 0 to 100. The higher a show charts across platforms and countries, the higher it scores.

The result is a podcast ranking you can actually compare across borders. The global chart aggregates performance from 28 countries, weighted by market size, so a #1 in the US counts for more than a #1 in a smaller market. Country charts focus on what listeners in that specific region are tuning into right now.
